Summertime Peach Pleasure Smoothie Recipe

Summer. What better way to cool off on a sweltering day than with a fresh peach smoothie. Smoothies are my specialty and I call this treat my peach pleasure smoothie. Make your own peach pleasure smoothie at home with these four ingredients:

  • 3 to 4 fresh peaches, sliced in half to remove the pit.
  • ½ cup of vanilla yogurt or for a richer smoothie a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream.
  • 1 frozen banana in lieu of ice. The banana makes the peach pleasure smoothie refreshingly cold and gives the peach pleasure smoothie a creamy texture.
  • ½ cup to 1 cup of water or any other liquid. Sometimes I use almond milk or apple juice.

Add the ingredients to the blender and blend until obtaining a frothy blend. I use a Vita-Mix which I absolutely love. It is the one kitchen appliance I could not live without. The Vita-Mix is pricey but worth every penny and lasts forever. Mine is at least ten years old, performs flawlessly and looks new.

This is my basic peach pleasure summertime smoothie. To kick it up a notch I add powered nutritional supplements. Right now my favorite supplement is powered organic Maca from the Amazon Rainforest. Maca promotes overall health and well being and provides me with lasting energy throughout the day. Friends and family have asked where all my energy comes from. Now my secret for all day energy is out.
